Gear

Gear refers to equipment, gadgets, gizmos, and items of clothing that may make survival in an uncertain future that more easier and more tolerable.

Ask yourself:  What will I do WTSHTF? How will I charge my iPod? How will I see at night when the power is out? How will I cut down this tree for firewood? Or did my failure to plan cause me to rely on an ill prepared government to look after me?

Ruger 10/22 BX-25 Magazine BANNED IN CANADA !?

Because Ruger advertised their BX-25 “high capacity” magazine to fit their SR-22 Pistol as well as their SR-22 and 10/22 platform rifles the RCMP banned (Prohibited) them from being imported into Canada. And the other ridiculous part of this “law” is that they don’t object to identical magazines being imported by other manufacturers NOT...

New to prepping?

I highly recommend those new to prepping check out the following article Surviving An Urban Disaster – By Richard Duarte. It’s in the June 2013 issue of SWAT Magazine (Survival Weapons and Tactics). Words from a Bosnian Survivalist

Words from a Bosnian Survivalist Translator’s note: This tale had originally been recorded in French and then translated by two Russian survivalists who met the man. The Bosnian is anonymous for reasons which will soon be made clear from reading the articles. -MicroBalrog I am from Bosnia. You know, between 1992 and 1995, it was hell. For one year I lived, and survived, in a city with 6,000 people, without water, electricity, gasoline, medical help, civil defense, distribution service, any kind of traditional service or centralized...
