The 7G’s – Hot and Bothered !!!

I’ve been struggling with this since Friday… my brain has been racing, I’ve not been sleeping and every time I hear of it in the news I can’t help but feel angry and frustrated. Are people that stupid and naive? Does Big Media think that we are that stupid and naive?

What (you may ask) has got me so hot and bothered under the collar? Well I’ll tell you… it’s a combination of things but it boils down to this:

Zero Dark Thirty, The Algerian Hostage Situation and Lance Armstrong

Firstly… Zero Dark Thirty. She (Director: Kathryn Bigelow) made a movie that just happened to be based upon real events, and was a fictional work designed to reveal some truths to the world in an entertaining and shocking manner. It’s a chronicle of the decade-long hunt for al-Qaeda terrorist leader Osama bin Laden after the September 2001 attacks, and his death at the hands of the Navy S.E.A.L. Team 6 in May 2011.

Wikipedia says: Zero Dark Thirty was released to wide critical acclaim and was nominated for five Academy Awards at the 85th Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Actress (Jessica Chastain) and Best Original Screenplay. Zero Dark Thirty also earned four Golden Globe Award nominations including Best Picture – Drama, Best Director, and Best Actress – Drama for Chastain, which she won. It has also attracted controversy and strong criticism for its allegedly pro-torture stance and for allegedly obtaining improper access to classified materials.

You A-holes that continue to criticize her “pro-torture stance” are so damn narrow minded it sickens me! THE GOVERNMENT CAPTURE AND TORTURE PEOPLE… and guess what YOU PAY FOR IT WITH YOUR TAXES !!! Stop criticizing a MOVIE… it’s NOT Reality TV !!! And stop making her a scapegoat !!!

Secondly, the Algerian Hostage Situation… a gas plant in Ain Amenas (Sahara desert, north Africa) was captured on Wednesday by 32 heavily armed men of various nationalities all of whom were Islamist militants (apparently). Algerian special forces stormed the complex on Saturday in a “final assault” that ended a four-day-old hostage crisis. They Special Forces killed all of the hostage takers, unfortunately a number of hostages were also killed during the firefight, believed to have been executed by the militants.

And of course the politically correct crowd have stepped up on their high horse to be heard and have publicly criticized the Algerians for putting a stop to the situation.

DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!! The kidnappers focused on the foreign workers, largely leaving alone the hundreds of Algerian workers who were briefly held hostage before being released or escaping. The kidnappers were linked to al-Qaida, and many such groups roam remote areas of the Sahara, threatening vital infrastructure and energy interests. The kidnappers were demanding the release of Omar Abdel Rahman, the 1993 World Trade Center bombing mastermind and a number of other terrorists and murderers, and they were demanding safe passage to Libya.

Thankfully the Algerian interior minister, Diho Weld Qabliyeh, said on state television “The authorities do not negotiate, no negotiations, we have received their demands, but we didn’t respond to them.”

It wasn’t that long ago that an American President (or two) said “We don’t negotiate with terrorists!” And that’s the line that the Algerians took. So stop criticizing them!!! They killed a bunch of criminals, unfortunately a number of innocents were executed during the operation, but hundreds of others were saved.

And if you don’t believe me you can read what CNN has to say @ http://www.cnn.com/2013/01/19/world/africa/algeria-hostage-crisis/index.html

Or Fox @ http://www.foxnews.com/world/2013/01/20/clinton-calls-hostage-siege-act-terror-after-american-dies-in-algerian-raid/

Just don’t be naive and think that this could have been resolved with better negotiations! Talking was not going to solve this problem, action was the ONLY way to deal with this situation. Hundreds more could have been killed and the energy infrastructure destroyed if action had not been taken !!!

And finally Lance Armstrong… I’m sick of hearing about his interview with Oprah Winfrey on every media channel, radio show, and in newspapers and magazines. He messed up BIG TIME !!! Get over it people, stop sensationalizing it, he’s not a hero, and he knows it. Let him get on with his life.

I had to get that off my chest… Now I can re-double my efforts watching Mister Obama and his anti-gun retards!
